Thanks for unveiling the secret. It seems to me that people who give for the sake of giving, expecting nothing in return, have no reason to complain. It is impossible for anyone to know what they will receive, disappointment can always happen. But knowing what they give, especially if it's appreciated, can make them feel happy. Being glad to give something, time, attention, interest etcetera, is a gift both to ourselves and to others.
